Wood Creek Lake

Wood Creek Lake is located in Laurel County about 6 miles northwest of London. The dam is a highway fill embankment on Interstate 75 about 9 miles north of London. This lake was completed in 1969. Facilities include a launching area, boat  dock, and parking area. Boats, live bait, and tackle are available.

Laurel River Lake

With over 200 miles of shore line and 5800 acres of water, the natural beauty of crystal clear Laurel Lake lies safely protected in the Daniel Boone National Forest where the water is pristine and the fishing is great!  Come to boat, fish, swim, scuba dive, or just relax.  Laurel Lake is known for Rainbow trout fishing.  Laurel Lake also offers excellent Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Catfish, and Crappie & holds the state record Smallmouth, 8 lbs. 12 oz., caught in 1998.

Battle of Camp Wildcat Reenactment

Mid October is when the Camp Wildcat Civil War Enactment and Encampment is recreated next to the original battle site at Camp Wildcat. Period dress, cannons, and artillery, of the first engagement of regular troops in Kentucky is portrayed.
